About me

I'm a UX Designer in San Francisco with a love of playfulness, problem-solving, and reducing pain for others

I love finding out what people are fans of, and believe that curiosity for what others value and get excited about help one become a better designer and collaborator.

I believe that technology fundamentally just helps us do things "faster" - when approaching problems, I try to consider what a solution might look like during a blackout before determining where technology should be involved.

That said, I love technology, use it extensively in my own life am always excited to discover new ways to do things faster and more effectively.

Analysis and Logic

I'm an artist by training and an analytical thinker & logician through profession from a previous career in legal support for a major software developer.

Information Architecture

I'm able to quickly interpret, organize and think with semantic information - my favorite places to play involve defining scope, statuses, and/or durable & scalable category structures.

Prototyping

I am knowledgeable in full-stack development which helps me quickly generate feasible wireframes and highly fluent in multimedia applications which helps me quickly learn the prototyping app du jour.

What I do when I'm not working

I love things that involve abstraction including videogames, theatre (especially broadway musicals), art, and building Lego sets with my partner. When building Legos, my favorite task is to organize and package the pieces in a way that lets her hit *peak building flow*!

I like playing with various media to make gifts for loved ones and personal passion projects.

I'm able to verify all internet cat facts through the custodianship of my 2 cat-children, Leeloo and Mouse.
